My last project of 2015 was a 3 episode series for InteractiveOne featuring a performance and interview with Grammy Award-winning R&B artist Monica.
It was my second time getting to shoot Monica and it’s always a pleasure. She provides genuine answers to all questions and in this video, performed the song that put her on the map back in the early ’90s.
I shot the interview with 4 cameras (3 Canon C300s and 1 Canon C100) and the performance with 5 cameras (3 Canon C300s and 2 Canon C100s) to keep the compositions dynamic and allow for a higher energy edit.
